Her Story

From watching local businesses stay invisible
to telling their stories for a living.

Amanda grew up in Kitsap County. She knows the coffee shops by name, the family restaurants by their founders, the salons and studios and storefronts that quietly hold this community together. She also watched too many of them stay invisible online — doing real, exceptional work that nobody outside their four walls knew about.

That didn't sit right with her.

So she did the only thing that made sense: she picked up a camera and started telling their stories. Not from a studio. Not with a template. On-location, in their actual businesses, with the actual people who built them. One business at a time. One owner at a time. One Kitsap story at a time — until the work itself became the proof.

What started as a passion project became The Kitsap Life — a community media platform that gave local businesses a voice and a real audience for the first time. Featured businesses kept coming back. They wanted help building on the momentum. That's when SkyWren Marketing was born — the agency side of the work, for businesses ready to grow with a real strategy behind their video.

Today Amanda runs both. The Kitsap Life builds the audience. SkyWren Marketing builds the businesses. Same camera. Same person. Same hyper-local heart.

"Your business has a story worth telling. The right people are out there waiting to hear it. Let's make sure they find you."

One Person · Three Brands

How it all fits together.

Amanda runs three connected brands that work as a single ecosystem — one for the personal voice, one for the agency work, and one for the community media engine.

The Personal Brand
Just a Girl in Kitsap

The voice. The face. The neighbor. Amanda's personal brand is the part that makes every project feel like it was made by someone who actually lives here — because she does.

This is the brand the community knows. The reason a stranger waves at her in a coffee shop. The reason local business owners say yes.

The Agency

SkyWren Marketing.

The studio. The strategy. The delivery. SkyWren Marketing is the agency side of Amanda's work — strategy sessions, video storytelling, social media strategy, and brand ambassador work for local businesses ready to grow.

If a business wants more than a one-off feature, this is where the real work happens.

The Media Engine

The Kitsap Life.

The community hub. The audience. The discovery layer. The Kitsap Life is the storytelling platform — business spotlights, weekend guides, owner stories, and local events that build a real, loyal Kitsap audience.

It's where featured businesses get discovered, and where the community comes to find what's worth knowing.

What She Stands For

Six things that never change,
no matter what we're building.

Hyper-local, always on-location

No studios. No stock. Every shot is in the actual business, in actual Kitsap County, with actual people. The community sees the difference instantly.

Relationship-driven marketing

One-off campaigns don't build businesses. Long-term relationships do. Amanda's clients aren't accounts — they're partners she keeps showing up for.

Video-first strategy

Static posts have their place. But video is how Kitsap businesses get found, get felt, and get remembered. Every plan starts with how video is going to drive it.

No generic templates

Your business isn't a template — your content shouldn't be either. Every strategy, every reel concept, every plan is built from the ground up for the business in front of her.

Authentic storytelling

Real moments beat polished ones every time. Amanda's job is to capture what's already true about your business — not invent a version of it that doesn't exist.

Deep Kitsap roots

Local isn't a marketing angle — it's where she's from and where she lives. The community knowledge she brings to every project isn't research. It's home.

Her Approach

Show up. Be real.
Let the community find you.

01

Show up where the work happens

Amanda meets you on-location — at your shop, your studio, your jobsite. No corporate sit-downs. The work and the people are the point.

02

Listen before she shoots

Every project starts with conversation. What's the story? What's the goal? Who's the customer? The footage follows the strategy — never the other way around.

03

Build content that keeps working

One session becomes weeks of content. The plan she leaves you with is one you can actually execute — clear, specific, and built for your real schedule.

Ready When You Are

Your business has a story.
Let's tell it.

One strategy session. A complete content roadmap. A clearer way forward — without the overwhelm.
