Amanda grew up in Kitsap County. She knows the coffee shops by name, the family restaurants by their founders, the salons and studios and storefronts that quietly hold this community together. She also watched too many of them stay invisible online — doing real, exceptional work that nobody outside their four walls knew about.
That didn't sit right with her.
So she did the only thing that made sense: she picked up a camera and started telling their stories. Not from a studio. Not with a template. On-location, in their actual businesses, with the actual people who built them. One business at a time. One owner at a time. One Kitsap story at a time — until the work itself became the proof.
What started as a passion project became The Kitsap Life — a community media platform that gave local businesses a voice and a real audience for the first time. Featured businesses kept coming back. They wanted help building on the momentum. That's when SkyWren Marketing was born — the agency side of the work, for businesses ready to grow with a real strategy behind their video.
Today Amanda runs both. The Kitsap Life builds the audience. SkyWren Marketing builds the businesses. Same camera. Same person. Same hyper-local heart.
